What this policy covers
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out what is and isn't allowed when using Luxota OS and any travel portal built on it. It is part of your agreement with Luxota and applies whenever you, or anyone using your account, accesses the platform.
Who it applies to
This policy applies to your agency as the account holder and to every person who uses your account — staff, administrators, and anyone you give access to. You are responsible for their actions and for making sure they follow this policy.
General principles
Use Luxota lawfully, honestly, and professionally. Keep the content, prices, and services you publish accurate and not misleading, and comply with the laws that apply to your business and to the travelers you serve, as well as the rules of your suppliers and payment providers.
Prohibited content
You must not publish or distribute through Luxota any content that is:
- Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading
- Infringing on others' intellectual property or rights
- Hateful, harassing, abusive, or discriminatory
- Sexual, obscene, or otherwise unlawful
- Malware, harmful code, or security exploits
- Misrepresented pricing, availability, or services
Prohibited activity
You must not use Luxota to:
- Commit fraud, money laundering, or chargeback abuse
- Create fake, test, or non-genuine bookings to manipulate the system
- Circumvent fees, segment charges, or wallet and settlement rules
- Scrape, overload, probe, or disrupt the platform or its suppliers
- Access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the platform beyond your agreed scope
- Send spam or unlawful marketing
Account and security
Keep your account credentials secure and your account information accurate. Do not share access in ways that put the platform, suppliers, or other users at risk. Tell Luxota promptly if you suspect any unauthorized access or security breach.
Suppliers, payments and data
Comply with the terms and credentials of any suppliers you connect, and use your own payment gateway lawfully and within its rules. Handle traveler and customer personal data lawfully, in line with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Addendum.
Restricted and high-risk activity
Luxota may decline to support, or may remove, services and activities that are illegal, sanctioned, high-risk, or outside legitimate travel and tourism — for example, anything that breaches applicable law or supplier rules. If you are unsure whether an activity is permitted, contact Luxota before offering it.
Enforcement and suspension
If this policy is breached, Luxota may warn you, restrict or suspend access, remove content, or terminate the agreement, depending on the severity. Where there is a serious legal, security, or financial risk, Luxota may act immediately and without prior notice. These steps are in addition to Luxota's rights under the Master Subscription Agreement.
To report a suspected violation or abuse, contact Luxota through the Legal Contact page.
Changes to this policy
Luxota may publish an updated version of this policy at a new dated address. The version that applies is the one in effect when you use the platform, and earlier versions remain available in the archive.
