What Luxota Full OTA is
Luxota Full OTA is the advanced commercial product for agencies operating beyond a branded portal as a full online travel agency. It adds direct Travel API Suppliers, Trustee financial operations, wider sales channels, mobile app capability, and API OUT, with more operational control and more responsibility.
Full OTA runs on a Pay-as-you-go model. There is no fixed annual software licence and no monthly platform access fee under the standard model; charges arise through wallet balance, usage-based segment fees, approved activation fees, and VAT where applicable. Pay-as-you-go does not mean free.
Included in Full OTA
- Direct Travel API Supplier activation, subject to feasibility and approval
- Trustee financial operations across Platform and Settlement wallets
- Up to 8 sales channels, subject to scope and readiness
- Mobile app capability and API OUT
- Unlimited payment gateways, with an activation fee per gateway

The Pay-as-you-go model
Under the standard model, Luxota does not charge an annual software licence, a monthly platform access fee, a separate standard hosting fee, or a separate standard support fee. Commercial charges still apply through your Platform Wallet balance, segment fees, supplier and gateway activation fees, ShareHub fees where applicable, VAT, and any approved custom or third-party charges.
Platform Wallet funding
To activate Full OTA, your agency funds its Trustee Platform Wallet with USD 2,000. USD 1,000 is retained at the start of the contract as security for ecosystem activity, and the remaining USD 1,000 is operational balance for Luxota-related deductions.
The following may be deducted from the Platform Wallet: segment fees, ShareHub fees, supplier activation fees, payment gateway activation fees, approved Luxota platform charges, applicable VAT, and other approved deductions under the agreement.
Platform segment fee
Platform segment fees apply only under Luxota Full OTA. They are charged per issued unit — per passenger, guest, traveler, or applicant — and decrease as your issued volume grows, on a stepped (tiered) basis: each band of units is charged at that band's unit fee. Tiers apply to the issued volume in the applicable period, as set in your Order Form. All amounts are in USD.
Flights & Hotels — base USD 0.85 per unit:
Packages & Visa — base USD 1.50 per unit:
Example. For 1,000 issued flight passengers in a period: the first 300 at USD 0.85, the next 600 at USD 0.68, and the next 100 at USD 0.51 = USD 714.00, plus VAT where applicable. VAT is applied per the VAT & Tax Policy.
When the fees apply
The platform segment fee and the ShareHub segment fee are charged only when a service is completely sold — that is, issued. Searches, quotes, holds, and cancelled or unissued bookings are not charged.
They apply to all service types — direct API suppliers, your own local (manual) services, and ShareHub inventory — and across every sales channel you use, including website, mobile app, White Label, meta search, and API OUT.
Direct supplier activation
Direct Travel API Suppliers are connected under Full OTA. Each approved supplier activation is charged at USD 250 + 5% UAE VAT.
Supplier activation depends on technical feasibility, supplier requirements, credentials, contracts, commercial approval, and readiness. Supplier approval is not automatic or guaranteed.
Payment gateways
Every site uses its own payment gateway; one site cannot use another agency's gateway. Full OTA supports unlimited approved payment gateways, with each new gateway activation charged at USD 250 + 5% UAE VAT after technical review and approval.
Card payments your customers make through your gateway may carry an online payment surcharge, set out in the Payment Surcharge Policy.
Sales channels
Full OTA can support up to 8 sales channels, subject to activation scope, technical readiness, commercial approval, product availability, third-party requirements, and contract terms:
- Website
- Mobile App
- ShareHub
- White Label
- Meta Search
- Licence Reseller
- API OUT
- Luxota ShareHub Supplier
Not every agency receives all 8 channels immediately; access depends on scope, readiness, approval, product availability, and contract terms.
Wallets and prepaid operation
All Luxota service operations are prepaid. Platform-related charges are taken from your Platform Wallet, and inter-agency service settlement runs through your Settlement Wallet; the two cannot be used interchangeably.
If the relevant wallet does not hold enough balance, the related operation or issuance cannot be completed. Wallet structure is detailed in the Billing & Payment Terms.
Term, termination and refunds
Termination requires 3 months' notice, followed by up to 1 month for final settlement and balance release — up to 4 months in total. Remaining wallet balances, including the operational balance and any releasable security retention, are refundable after termination according to the contract timeline, subject to settlement review.
Refundable does not mean immediately refundable. Refund and release terms are set out in the Refunds & Renewals Policy.
